Intention
Through having an amazing time exploring Peru and Peruvian culture, both modern and ancient, the intention for this retreat is to assist each participant in taking the next steps in their personal journey towards full self-empowerment, self-realization, and self-expression in this lifetime; to purify and cleanse that which is ready to be released so that we can plant new seeds and cultivate them to grow in order for us to step into truly living our greatest potential; so that we can recognize our gifts and share them fully with ourselves, our families, our communities and the planet as a whole. And, to have great fun while we’re at it!
We will participate in different activities while we joyously and lovingly embody this journey. Among those activities will be sacred ceremony and ritual, visiting powerful sacred sites, being in nature and, of course, diving into Peruvian culture, life, cuisine, and spirituality.
The nature spirits are palpable and healing in Peru. We will feel their presence as we explore some amazing and beautiful
We will be well nourished and physically supported during our journey by delicious Peruvian cuisine. When you fill out the registration form, please be sure to note your dietary needs.
We will dive into our hearts to cleanse, renew and awaken our bodies, minds, and spirits.
You are invited to join us!
Itinerary
First Day: Airport – Sacred Valley
After arriving at Cusco in the morning, we will be transferred to Urubamba in the Sacred Valley. This is a lower elevation than Cusco and it will be easier to get acclimated to the altitude. After we check in to the wonderful Willka T’ika retreat center we will have a welcome circle and a beautiful dinner.
Second Day: Sacred Cave – Ollantaytambo – Ceremony
On our first full day in the Sacred Valley, we will have an early visit to the first of three interdimensional portals we will be exploring on our journey. This is a sacred ancient temple near Ollantaytambo inside a hidden cave.
We will then continue to Ollantaytambo, a majestic astronomical place, to visit the Inca town where people still live nowadays and the ancient temples built there.
After lunch, we will visit the ceramic art gallery Seminario, where the artist and his wife create their pieces using pre-Inca and Inca techniques.
Back at the retreat center, we will participate in a traditional ancient Despacho ceremony with an Andean priest (Benito and his family) from the Q´ero community to prepare us for the journey to Machu Picchu. They will come from a remote high rural area to meet with us.
Third Day: Pisac – Urubamba
We will drive along the Sacred Valley. We will explore the vast area of Pisac.
Pisac is as big as Machu Picchu in size, but because it was discovered by the Spanish, it is not as intact as Machu Picchu. Pisac is well worth exploring for a full day as there is so much to see and discover including its sun temple area, vast terraces, intact water systems, hillside tombs, and famous craft market
We will have some free time in the afternoon to explore the traditional market.
Fourth Day: Chinchero – Moray
In the morning we will go to visit the archeological site of Chinchero.
High above the Sacred Valley at 12,000 feet, famous for its women weavers, we will spend the morning hiking there and visit the weavers that use native plant dyes and millenarian techniques to create very fine quality textiles.
In the afternoon we will drive from Chinchero back to the Sacred Valley with a stop at Moray along the way. Moray is a series of terraced basins that form ancient circles, a huge vortex of energy. This is a very mystical and magical place.
Fifth day: Machu Picchu
In the morning we will drive for 20 min. to Ollantaytambo train station to take the 1.5-hour train to Machu Picchu enjoying the gorgeous scenery on the way.
We will spend two days exploring the famous site of Machu Picchu.
After arriving by train from the Sacred Valley, we will check in at the hotel and then take the bus up to the Machu Picchu citadel.
We will explore the citadel in the afternoon of our first day, a full tour of the central area with its ceremonial center, and sun-dial, still functioning water channels and impressive stonework, all built in harmony with the surrounding mountains of the high jungle
Sixth Day: Hot Springs
In the morning, we will take a short ride on a train to Hydroelectric station and from there drive for almost an hour to Santa Teresa in the cloud forest, lower than Machu Picchu, a land of fruit and coffee plantations to submerge ourselves for a couple of hours in the great Hot Springs of Cocalmayo, surrounded by lush vegetation and the big Sacred river Urubamba nearby.
We will then ride back to the Hydroelectric train station and Machu Picchu town.
Seventh Day: Huayna Picchu – Cusco
We will take an early bus up to the citadel to be up there with the first sunlight.
We will then hike up Huayna Picchu Mountain, considered one of the most Sacred Mountains. It will take us about 3 hours in total.
Back down at the citadel, we will have some free time to enjoy the view, have a meditation moment, do another short hike or explore the rest of the place.
In the afternoon we will take a train back to Ollantaytambo station and from there drive back to Cusco and check in to our hotel.
Eighth Day: Cusco – Sacsayhuaman
9:00 am Visit to Sacsayhuaman and other Huacas around Cusco.
We will drive to the outskirts above Cusco to explore the megalithic place of Sacsayhuaman including the carved boulders and hidden underground caves of Qenqo and Amaru Machay or Temple of the Moon.
Free afternoon to explore the old part of the city, do some shopping or an optional walk to the local market and time to pack for the second part of our journey in Lake Titicaca.
Ninth Day: Lake Titicaca – Raqchi – Pucara – Chucuito
We will have an early departure in a private van from Cusco to Lake Titicaca (snacks and box lunch).
We will stop to visit Raqchi, the temple of Wiracocha, the Cosmic Energy Giver at 11,150 feet. We will visit this Incan place built with volcanic rock from the area. Hundreds of granaries were built there to store the products from the Cusco area and from the Altiplano area, where Lake Titicaca is located. This is a great place to connect with the symbol of being a Cosmic Seed.
Getting to La Raya at 14,150 feet, the highest spot along the trip and the border between Cusco and Puno regions, we will have a short stop for pictures. We will see high mountain peaks considered very sacred, where the Incas and pre-Incas went for pilgrimage on special occasions.
Next, we will stop at Pucara at 12,830 feet, one of the earliest temples in Perú, 3,000 years old, at the feet of a powerful rock, related to the Puma, one of the three symbolic animals from our culture. We will do a meditation to connect with the Puma energy to begin to align with the Lake Titicaca vibration. We will drive to Chucuito, passing Puno to stay at a hotel located at 12,500 feet above sea level, at the shore of the Lake.
Tenth day: Uros – Takile – Amantani
Departure to Takile Island from the harbor in Puno. On the way, we will see the floating Uro islands, made of reeds. The locals still live there in the same way that they have for thousands of years. We will stop to visit one of the islands and be able to connect with the inhabitants.
We continue to Takile to visit the island for a couple of hours where we will do a ceremony by the shore of the Lake in a special shrine where the locals have held ceremonies for centuries.
Then we will have lunch near the shrine and the locals will show us their textiles. Takile island is very well known for its people being considered some of the best weavers. We will connect there with the ancient tradition of weaving and its symbols. The knowledge of weaving was spread from the Lake to all the other cultures from ancient Perú.
After lunch, we will continue to Amantani island. The ride will last about an hour. One of the local families will receive us in their house for the next 2 nights. They have been having guests for more than 20 years. It will be

On the way, we will visit Sillustani, a place where the veils between dimensions are thinner. This is a very ancient place where we will see majestic constructions built to connect the Earth and the Heavens.
Then we will continue to Puno, the capital town of the area, where we will have lunch and have time to visit the local handicraft market before arriving back in Chucuito to check in again at the hotel by the Lake.
Thirteenth Day: Dimensional Doorway – Fertility Temple – Chucuito
We will have a very early departure to visit the Amara Meru stargate, the third of our interdimensional portals.
